Sometimes. I find that if I'm in a production slump, listening to my own music gets me back in the mood again to start writing music.

i was once so out of it i didnt realise it was one of my own tunes, and i was loving it, and i got the shivver during the break. only realised as it was mine when it was being mixed out. i actually remember thinking to myself 'i wish i could get my kicks sounding like that'..

sometimes i sit there while im making a really hypnotic/Dreamy track, and ill just be like "fuck it, sounds good enough for the time being" and ill just put one part on repeat and ill sit on my chair, slowly going round and round lol ... then i finish it

I listen to them, but not very much as the more u listen, the harder u critique your work which in itself can cause tunnel vision and...well u know how that can go down

Yes, but only when I'm sure they are finished. If they aren't I can always find a reason to go back and fuck about with them, in fact even when I decide they are finished I can usually find a reason. Its a stressful experience sometimes................

i wish i could listen to my old tracks they all died with my computer, my new stuff never gets finished but i listen now and then mostly when im pissed and think they sound awsome!!!
