so really, it is YOU that doesn't like RPGs. |
Wow you know I don't post nearly as much as I should on TA, but wherever I am I cannot seem to escape pointless hate from pkcRAISTLIN. No matter where I am I seem to find you on the opposing side of every last issue, and rarely with a solid argument to begin with.
The entire concept of the Mmorpg obviously stems from RPG's and most of the earlier releases offered all of the traits you are referring to or are claiming that Mmo's do not have. In fact as I scan them again I really dont think you have very much experience with mmo's at all and based on your attitude im sure if you do, it is highly unlikely you were able to gain the depth required in any mmo to make such claims, as part of that would require not as much being socially retarded...scratch that actually, im sure you would have been beyond successful in wow.
If bioware sets out to make an Mmo i'm sure it will be quite successful and borrow many of the traits we have come to love from their RPG releases. It is in my opinion, highly unlikely that any plans for another KOTOR release would cease indefinitely over an Mmo version of the franchise. If this assumption is based on WoW and the neglect in regards to the warhammer *cough* I mean warcraft RTS, thats not really valid since their are two major organizations who have taken a franchise to mmo and squaresoft did not cease production on its Rpg series because of FFXI.
