I usually just plan out my 1st 1 or 2 tracks, the crowd will let you know which direction you should go. I have a lot more fun making new mixes on the fly. I have to admit though, like most people, I already know 3-4 tracks to go with every track that is playing, and even the best places to que up, just in case I've lost a lot of my creative edge to free drinks. I've noticed, the more fun I'm having, the more the crowd responds. But then again do what you gotta do to be comfortable in live... Some people need a plan, while i would rather show up, late if anything... already drunk! lol, jk
