Not really. Many people are opposed to abortion for moral or ethical reasons. And many of the same people have no problem with contraception, divorce, euthanasia, etc. which if they were religious they would.

I see where you're coming from Hooknife, but yeah, ^^^ he's right. Not all of us are religious nutters. I, for one, only oppose abortion because I don't feel anyone can decide whether the foetus' should die.

And, as a matter of fact, I do think that religion is not helpful here.
