Can't forget the Wipeout games on PS1! Those were true classics..blazing fast futuristic races and perfect racing music. Chemical Brothers, Orbital, Underworld, Junkie XL, Fluke, Photek, Prodigy, etc.
Yeah it's true.but i think the entire saga of wipeout (PS1/PS2/PSP)

I hated that one. The version in UT99 just had so much more personality to it - just like all the tracks in '99. The 2k4 version just sounded so bland in comparison.\

kr_hyperblast_redux. I think it sounds incredibly epic in comparison to everything on the UT2k4 soundtrack. Was the original called Hyperblast? I went on youtube and could only find hyperblast_redux. I'd like to hear this original.
I also liked the soundtrack to Takara Forest.
on another note, what is the official name of this sound? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Svss2Y1K3-U
The song is actually up for free download on Jesper Kyd's website as "Epic Trailer Theme".

The name 'hyperblast redux' comes from the fact that this was the track in a ut99 map called hyperblast, which happends to be the last level where you fight Xan.

Fantastic add. Come to think of, the entire soundtrack to UT99 was gold. I think I have it on CD somewhere, came with Unreal Tournament Gold Edition if I remember correctly.
