Spectacular mix, Denys!

I did find some of the swaying between the extreme ends of the spectrums of deep and tech to be a bit jarring (which, I admit, is ironic considering I did the same thing with prog and tech on my last demo), but the set is still overall enjoyable and there are some very nice, lush sounds in here that leave you feeling refreshed.

And, Disco Bus was new to me, so I thought the shit in the middle of your sandwich tasted pretty good. I've been playing a lot of this type of sound lately so it's nice for me to find.

As I always do with your sets, I started writing down tracks that I've now gotta go and buy. (Disco Bus, Disco Killed My Brain, Lunar, and Lesh, specifically.)

Thanks for this, I'll surely be keeping it around to listen to for a while.

great! something for everyone. and yes this is also a peaks and valleys mix, not so much straightline. i've been trying to stay away from "build to a climax somewhere after the middle of the mix, then drop it out smoothly" flow that i've used in the past. i believe a dancefloor should stay vibrant and on their toes.

sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. six of one, half-dozen of another... etc.

Yeah, I've been working with a similar philosophy with my mixes... and, being that we seem to have such similar tastes, I've always made it a point to check out your mixes as of late.

I've listened to this a few times now - Really sweet set mate. The Disco Bus track is a little out of left field, but it's not really an issue at all. Chunky house indeed

Back in the early 90s clubs like Hammerjacks (before the stadium was built), Orpheus, Paradox and a few other establishments there arose many classic parties. Buzz (yes, that same one), Rise, etc. exposed people to cutting edge music and club culture. These events were an acceptable alternative to all the illegal raves that were receiving negative publicity at that time on the East coast.

That's all I meant.
