I'm a huge Armin fan but i didn't like his set at all. It was pretty disappointing.
I caught a bit of Benassi's set though and he was quite good, but the best goes out to the folks at the tent! Mstrkrft & Steve Aoki killed it!! I was also surprised that they opened up Gallery later in the night. I was there earlier and they were just using it as a resting place. who was DJ-ing?? He was awesome!

Guv was in high gear, as usual 'Labour of Love' is the biggest party of the year in Toronto... hands down.

Every room on fire (even the Gallery had an emergency open lol) and such a crazy epic vibe.

ps. For the 15 mins I caught Benassi he was playing some nice melodic prog...

ok man well I just came back from there and they are OPEN! sat down and ate a big lunch, oh man that totally hit the spot!

In regards to Armin, he is good at doing long sets...however I think given the fact that he over rams the KH tells us he is bigger than it. Maybe he can do a gig at Ricoh...or something outdoors? yea that would be sweet.

Burren's set was okay... it had a few amazing songs that i heard in the middle....

All in all the best dance place was the TENT until they started playing rock.
The best room in general with not to big crowds was skybar (sunrise was crazy.)
My Dj Reviews-
AVB-amazing for an 8 hour set, kept the pace up the whole time with no boring tracks, but took to much time transitioning for a traditional Trance producer&Dj.
BENNY B- He was okay, not to many new stuff, his music is very good but can get boring very quickly, He also did not pay much attention to his audience...
VANDALISM- First time i heard them, they were really good. I think one was a women, its awesome to see popular women DJ's enjoying their crowds more then the mainstream Dj's.
MSTRKFT- Okay as usually, they style of music is very POP oriented, but they play a few really good tracks that until last night i have not heard.
STEVE AOKI- What can i say? Steve is very impressive, yet kind of unimaginative, He is more into mixing already known mixes with little of his own stuff.
DEVLIN & DARKO- Terrible could not stand their music, had to leave for guv anyway for angelo and ingrosso....
SA&SI- Really good, i have a lot of there tracks on my play lists, but most of there songs they played i have never heard, They are kind of like Ferry Corsten, who always surprises us with new mixes and unreleased music on CDS.
Deko-ze, What can i really say? now since MSTRKFT and Deadmu5 have hit mainstream, this local DJ really gets things going....Enjoying himself with his fans and friends, a close community exists with this DJ. By FAAAR my fav. local DJ.
ESO-YM- I heard a little from these guys, i also have maybe heard 3 songs from them before. Once again they were pretty cool, only problem is the damn sketchs in that room on the sides, i think someone threw up in there too, the SMELL was horrible.

You like that kind of mainstream DJing where big names hit up stadiums to perform 5 hour sets with crappy lighting and all age crowds, also where tickets are $80....shitty and no fun!

A great party. Armin can truly bring out the energy and vibe like no other! Stayed in KH mainly. Loved the stage setup with all the pretty lights! Hated the long long lineup (got there after 1am and didn't get in until 2am). Too many disorganized people that didn't buy advanced tix and holding up the line!

Overall, 8/10

only saw MSTRKRFT in the tent but it was awesome!

I've honestly never seen the tent so rammed! I got there around 2:15 just after they started and it took me forever to get in because the tent was so packed. I've never had to wait to get into the tnet!

But you can't really expect anything less then a great show from MSTRKRFT. JFK looked completely fucked up and that's the way I like it !!
