No, it's a good track, great even. Tho i enjoy Taucher - Winter Love much more which is another take on the same melody.

Just included We Came In Peace because it's among the first "real" and decent trance tracks i know even if the '91 Mix is my fav version. Hello San Francisco came a few years later.

Indeed it is, but it very "trancy" goa trance. What I mean is that it would be interesting to include these while writing something about MWNN and Oakey and their influence on trance in the 90's.

Is the purpose to collect great tracks, or rather "samples" of what was at the top during a certain time.

If it's the latter than I applaud it, otherwise who wants another subjection fest.

BT - Flaming June
Astral Projection - Mahadeva
Darren Tate & Jono Grant - Let the Light Shine In

Many tracks from the early 90s still get argued about, whether they're old skool techno or trance. The more melodic old skool techno is somewhat interchangable with old skool trance so there's no definite truth.

I've just never thought Orbital as trance producers myself because majority of their work is truly something else than trance. Halcyon+On+On, Lush 3-1, One Perfect Sunrise and a few others surely are trancey but still..

When you make a handful of trancey tracks out of hundreds of tracks overall, that doesn't qualify you as a real trance producer IMO. Most trance producers explore occasionally among various other genres, yet they are always known as trance producers because most of what they're making is trance.

Yep, I would agree with that, but I still think they deserve a look in as some of their stuff was highly influential even if most of their stuff isn't really trance per se. They still have more great trance tracks than many "trance producers" around these days too IMO

Oh, and carrying on about unreleased tracks, why does beatport not have any of Bent's wonderful stuff Trackitdown does, but they're obscenely expensive

Just like razors edge-Esquisite skin is very goa trancey hard trance. However when you look at it from a genre defining perspective and not a mood perspective then it's(mwnn tracks) definitely goa trance. I know this is stupid, and for all means I'd play it at a trance party, but if we're talking about the history of a genre, then thats like putting the delta in the history of techno.

Yeah the point is stand out or genre changing tunes of the time... not just a collection of all the "bestest tunes eva!!!"
