yep, I went to my dentist...told them I needed a cleaning/x-rays...

It came up to $200, but because I don't currently have a dental plan, they charged me $150. I'm fortunate to have a job in which I can afford things like seeing the dentist. Many people do not have jobs nor make enough to afford this.

To some degree, I agree with Yohan, everyone should be entitled to a basic dental cleaning once a year. I went to my dentist last night and read about this story.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad we even have OHIP. But it'd be nice if some improvements could be done in our health system nonetheless.

By the way, eye-doctor visits are no longer covered by OHIP unless I believe you're under 13 y/o or over 60 y/o.
