I went to NYC a few years ago for the first time, and the absolute first thing I did was find a pizza place. It was really my main intention of going there. Om nom nom.

At my sisters there is this farmers market on Thursdays. There is this Turkish kebab stand there. They had some of the best kebabs I have ever had. My brother in-law makes them just as good, but man these were rivaling his.

the best pizza in the entire US is made here --



just a little shack built onto the side of a strip mall in Shrub Oak, NY and run by 2 old Italian guys. i have never had better pizza. i imagine it's only rivaled by pizza in Italy which i still have yet to try (airport pizza doesn't count although that was pretty amazing as well).
