i was in high school and i was the DJ. at the start of the year the principal was in front of 500-600 students speaking on the microphone. so i was just waiting for him to finish his boring speech so i can play some music. i can't remember why i needed to restart my laptop (which was connected to the mixer)...so i did, and after windows booted the "tadada" start sound from microsoft played through the loudspeakers. all 600 hundred students laught. LOL !

not mine, but worth telling.

in middle school, in language, we were taught how to properly redact an interview. we were supposed to get a tape recorder, conduct an interview, we could pick the subject, etc. and then play it for the class.

well, recorders aren't a common thing. these days since we're all gadget geeks, everyone might have something that could record (cellphone, iPod, whatever). back then, even tho getting one wasn't hard, it was unusual when you had one with you and could walk around recording shit. which would explain why one of my classmates recorded himself talking randomly to people, yelling profanity. etc.

he then recorded the interview over this tape, meaning the interview erased this... or so he thought. for the most part, no problem, but somehow, every now and then, the interview would cut out and something like "YOU COCKSUCKER!" would come out the speakers. for years, i've wondered if it was a genuine accident or if he meant to do it.
