eh how can they not be elite.so they are happy with being just athletes. no need to be an elite second best will do.

ive been doing this spartan work out now for a while.
and to be fair its dame good.
its all made up with core and burn out exersises.
mainly because the body has diffrent energy systems,
fast twich and slow twich body fiburs.
once these systems have been used up it then makes the body
forced into new growth.

Skillful, yes, fit, yes, talented, yes. Elite athletes, no.

Umm...ok....

If you consider doing 10 hours of training in a day at 80-100% intensity, including sprints, vertical leaps, endurance training, reaction time, strength, flexibility and more, just a normal athlete then you're on crack. I can tell you from experience that some of the most athletic and well rounded people I have met have been basketball players.

And anyway, regardless of sport if you're in the higher percentage of athletes doing that sport, then you're an elite athlete.

Those are all pure, raw athletic and not specialized abilities. I would put them on the same level as gymnasts, sprinters, and wide-receivers/running backs.

try hockey players. talk about skills !!! it is such a beautiful graceful game and sometimes i wonder how many people sincerely appreciate their awesomeness. you have to put it all out there each and every shift...

To his defense, Trump didn't even really look like a bum.

I heard in my TKD classes that the "hindu pushups" and "******s" are the best abs exercises.
Also, good luck doing 30 pull ups from start.

+1

Don't get me wrong, I can do 4 sets of 12 full, chin over the bar, wide grip pull-ups... But doing 30 in one set? Very hard to do, even for people who regularly train.

i think it was just done to number it up with the other sets of 30.

If you do 3 sets of 10 with breaks in between you'll be alright.

Yeah, I suppose that works too... And it should be done on the beginning of a workout because it's probably the hardest exercise to do of those 10.

I think I'll do this Spartan workout (excluding that cable exercise and pull ups *) on free days when I'm not hitting the gym. Results should be interesting.

* How am I supposed to do those at home?

have you seen a commercial for this thing that wraps around your doorframe? i kinda want to get it, but i dunno. that would be good for the pull-ups among other things.

and of course buy a cable for the other one... yeah it all involves money. fail.
