Feel it's like Valentino effort on Nathan Fakes Ouhouse. Even though it's not close to the original, it's a good effort and not dishonour in any way. Do you really have to beat the original to make a decent remix?

Here is my original posting from the GU website back in September that should convey the sprit this remix was done in.

“Did a remix/ reedit of Burial’s “archangel.” I was hoping for something slow and dark but it ended up sounding like this. I know its hallowed ground for many, so im sorry if this offends you. Take a listen”

I’m not too worried about it though, as I got a lot out of it. All of my favorite djs, Digweed, Nick Warren, Hernan etc championed it, Pete Tong played it on the Essential Selection and kode9 and even Burial himself wrote me and said they were happy that their music had inspired me so much. At the end of the day what more can one ask for. Though it would be nice for it to get released but one can’t expect a diehard dub-step label to all of a sudden start releasing house tunes.

And while you stop responding to us, also stop remixing tracks like these. Remix Dubfire tracks.
