thats a pretty radical departure from our current operations, even given what just happened earlier this week. it would be something i would have to seriously consider the details getting on board with but it goes to show that extremism in most parts of the Arab world is rightly rejected.

Arabs and Muslims who are serious about a peaceful prosperous future for their children are ready to do some serious things about extremism and at sometimes great risk to their own future. that risk requires unbelievable amounts of nuance to ensure their safety.

Great, you want the United States, fighting on behalf of Iraq, to escalate conflict in the Middle East by, "...launching a widespread offensive against Syria..."?? And for what? American national defense? What is this garbage you've just fed to me?

i was just pointing out what Iraqis in Mosul would like us to do, similar to what other countries ask us to do behind closed doors. something you seem to have a difficult time grasping. it's understandable.

as much as Syria blows exporting extremist jihad i would be very hesitant.

Again, escalate conflict in the Middle East for what now? Mosul? Am I supposed to support this in an effort to look like I grasp, what again? If you want to go fight for Mosul and invade Syria, by all means, join the Iraqi army... I will not, however, allow my country to open up yet another front in this disgusting War on Terror.
