Ah, you'll get used to the change.
Back when I was a fixture at the Drink in 2000 or so, that room used to be the hardest club in the city to get into. Not only was it guestlist only, you had to know the password to get in.
From there, the room was filled with the prettiest collection of people ever seen at a Toronto club (but really pretensious) that were just there to be seen and look cool. The music was very South Beach and deep house and it was successful for years...
Then numbers started dropping and the format was changed from bar stars, to a true after hours vibe with Manzone and Strong. The door policy changed as well, and a lot of the old school Drink people cried long and hard about the change.
The reason I tell this story is because one day, people will look back and be confused that the Drink once played house instead of mashup. I bet there aren't that many people on this board that remembered how posh and snotty the Drink was before it became the Manzone and Strong show. Times change.
It's a good move for the boys as they will be able to take bookings on Saturday nights in different cities in North America. With their talent and connections, there's no reason they won't be able to be playing gigs in Miami, New York, Montreal, etc...
