exactly. those costs get passed on to the consumer, and businesses will tighten up and cut jobs if they are squeezed. They are in business to make a profit, not be a charity.

There is 0 evidence of that.

Businesses are already cutting jobs at an alarming rate with the Bush/McCain tax plan.

Obama will offer tax breaks to businesses that keep jobs in the US instead of shipping them overseas.

People are fed up with Corporate America, it shows given their reaction to the whole mess on Wall Street, the next President needs to both punish them and reward them based on the circumstances.

Fucking billionaires need to be on leashes, and with leading corporations like GOOGLE sponsoring Obama, how can you even begin to think Obama is bad for business?

Last time I checked, my company AT&T wasn't responsible for anything detrimental to the country. I'm not saying this tax hike is going to fuck big corporations over, but I'm not going to bear responsibility just for working for a large corporation by having my job in jeopardy just because several investment/banking firms fucked over the economy.

well, if you think that your own personal interests are more important than the interests of your country then that's fine.

True, but you don't think increased taxes can hinder a large corporation, already accumulating substantial amounts of debt due to operating expenses, from paying them off? This assuming the credit market is bad. If the credit market is bad, companies are going to have trouble burrowing money to pay off short-term debt. All of a sudden these additional tax increases come, making it all the harder to pay off debt. What's the easiest way to cut short-term losses? Layoffs. Not saying it's going to happen but it has me thinking.

My question is if everyone, rich, middle class, poor is going to have the same health care, what is the quality of the health care plan everyone will be recieving? Some people feel that if they can afford to get a better plan, then they should.

look, i took the time to respond to you properly, if you don't have anything remotely interesting to say, annoy somebody else.

small businesses employ far more people than corporations so your job lost is made up somewhere else. of course i wouldnt try and tell you that you losing your job is good for you, that's silly. but why would you think that i care about your job versus any other american's job?

most of the time its the shit staff to go first so you should only be worried if youre shit.

either way, not making a choice isn't benefiting your own lot in life. i wouldn't worry about the AT&T *corporation* so much when you are so sure you will lose your job. its not very secure with either president, since AT&T is one of the slowest adapting behemoths in history|
