I did consider it was just some stupid idea at publicity but personally I don't see what difference it makes though.
The fans are still going to worship him regardless and it just makes the people like me think even less of him. I think people who weren't already aware of him are just going to think he's a dick.
I understand the mantra that there is no such thing as bad publicity but that only really goes for people for reality TV stars or people who have nothing else going on in their lives. He has a tour going on, some album, he may or may not have assaulted a photographer just last week etc.
