i'm go out myself right now, if i wouldn't have to be totally productive sunday. |
I have to consider it a risk these days.
Circa 2002. One of our often days where we'd wake up near 5am on a Sunday morning (if I didn't go out Sat night for some reason), got ready, and off to the EndUp for some fun. Do believe EndUp closed for a couple horus on Sunday mornings then and reopened at 6am. Our other roommate, who was the brother of the roommate I was driving with, was a bouncer at the EndUp and I had left my wallet at his friends place the day before.
Anyhow, on the way from my place (which was right down the street from where I am now), got on the 280 and there was something in the middle of the road. Did a quick swirve around it, 15 secs later...being pulled over. I think I shoulda maybe got a ticket or something, but was lucky and got a warning once everything was explained. Luckily my roommate was with me, because otherwrise I woulda had to try to call him to come there to get me and the car...or have it towed.
Anyhow, I don't remember so much from the rest of the day. I actually don't remember much of the EndUp from when I went then. Would get there at 6am and be wasted by 7am lol. The $9 Vodka redbulls there are worth it! Just knew to stay away from the dance floor because if I was there dancing and didn't know anyone, I would be completel blind to other dudes hitting on me when they were asking for my name and stuff. Bouncer roommate's girlfriend would protect me from them lol. Still don't like dancing a lot there...I can deal with staredowns, but everytime, without fail, once I'm on the floor it's only a minute before some dude is trying to get close to me to dance. Anyone else have that issue there? I never hear of anyone having it. Should I change how I dress or something? I don't wear makeup. Have no piercings...why does it happen without fail! Should I get a tattoo or something? lol.
Actually, someone told me a reason once...but I dunno if they were messing around. Embarrassing to say, and might be consider a little inappopriate (politically speaking).
