I ended up going, and had a pretty fun time considering all the lazer trance. It was cute, Ferry is one happy guy.

Lazer trance? Well, at least you were able to enjoy yourself. At least he doesn't play too much of the more pop trance.
And yes, he is a happy guy. Did you get the chance to meet him? He is one of the nicest musicians I've ever met. Met him last year too. He's always willing to shake a few hands and take a few pictures.

Yeah, Sun Decade - I'm Alone.

Seriously, I thought it was awesome how it was like a set from the turn of the century... lots of 2000-2003 era songs.

It was awesome. I'm Alone is one of my all time favorites. One of the songs that got me into trance when I first heard it in PVD's 2002 cream set. One of my highlights of the night. I also highly enjoyed the end where he was dropping a lot of his tracks. Really, the whole thing was great though. Never a dull moment.

Hmmmm, I love Stoneface & Terminal's remix of I'm Alone...and I'm sad to say I got this song confused with Ferry Corsten's remix of Anomaly. Chalk that one up to being fucked up.

I loved the music...but man...the crowd was at an all time low in my opinion.

So many douche bag 18 year olds. Everytime I tried getting into the mood. A group of kids, and I mean kids, would fucking run into me. They didn't even try to walk around me. They would just try to walk through me.

One of these days I'm just going to fucking punch them and spend the night in jail.

Fucking little kids who come to Opera because it's Opera and it's 18+ on these nights. When I was 18, I still came to dance and enjoy the music. I didn't spend the entire time being a tool, walking around trying to be seen.

It's alright man. Everyone gets tracks mixed up every now and then.

I agree that the crowd did seem to have an extra handful of losers. Thankfully I didn't have many encounters. I kind of stayed out of the crowded area until the end. I did have this one kid that kept pushing up against me and I finally turned around and gave him a look and he stopped.

Like at Armin and Tiesto and what not, people bump into me, but that's because they're also dancing and we just happen to be getting in each other's way here and there...

At Ferry though, these ******s were just moving, back and forth from one spot to another, and everytime it was right through me. And everytime, sure enough, they had the token X's on their hands.

I'm like, "pick a fucking spot and do your thing. No reason to change spots in the club every 3 minutes when it's this crowded."

I dunno, I think I just had bad luck.

Music was top notch though.

I had a great time! Can't wait for A&B next week. Was the second song Adagio (Ferrry's mix of it)? Blueprint, Beautiful, and Shanti were awesome. I also really loved Let Solitude!

Let Solitude, Beautiful, Cygnes and Brain Box were the high lights of the night in my opinion.
