Well I just made the leap. Bought AKG 701's. They are only $265 at DJDeals. Which is excellent considering some sites are selling them for $450. That headphone review site on page 2 rated 701's as 5 out of 5 stars, whereas the 240 MKII's only got 3.5 out of 5.
