did you even read his RA interview?

you might find it interesting to know the whole thing of him spinning here in toronto at fw all by himself was an idea not originated by howells at all but suggested to him. he was humbled to be given that opportunity and it worked out so well both for him and the club the first time round that it made sense to keep that thing going.

he's a human being with a conscience for society and humanity first and a passion for music second. the fame and all the trappings are what they are given his stature, but they are not a part of who he is as a person.

Howells

Howells used to do start to close sets in Montreal, NYC and London for years. I think after some not so good opening djs here in Toronto (remember Dean Coleman at TIL?) and the fact that the people at FW are brave enough to do something different, they opted to give it a whirl and see how it goes. The result has been true extended sets from Danny including a proper warm-up. As one of the few djs who excel at "taking you on a journey" marathon sets, I'm glad that Toronto can offer Howells the opportunity to do this.

Tenaglia is defintely a Diva, but at the same time he's super down to earth with his fans.

I remember walking down Collins in South Beach a few years back with a buddy, this silver Hummer is driving by and my buddy(a DT superfan) points and says yells "Danny".. DT pulls his car over and chatted with us for a couple of minutes. He also regularily posts on DTourism, he provides his personal email to fans and responds to literally almost every email they send him.

Pretty much anyone I've ever met, booked or played with has been really friendly.
Only once I've ever booked someone up who was really cranky and a bit of a dick, but I don't blame him either. His agency gave us the wrong flight intinerary, so he was picked up 3 hours late...this was 2-3 days after an award show, on the tail end of a bender not having slept for a while. I woulda been a cranky pants too.
