Resistance D- Rezolution (Resistance-D are my all-time favorite trance musicians EVER! F.E.O.S and Maurice Diehl made some of the most hypnotic, druggy, atmospheric and cinematic EDM ever. Yeah they were half-greek as well hah!)

Here is what I came up with: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHSymLxIHRw&fmt=18
It could definitely use some more work (especially the siren sound)
Sounds like you put too much compression on it. The beat gets quieter when the synths are working...
I kind of like the siren sound, actually.
Needs work, but I'm sure you can improve it if you put more time into it.
I am currently trying to make "real trance" as well.

I havent learnt how to master my own tracks so I usually add a compressor to the master bus to get some more volume when I just want to export something quickly. It did seem to get worse after I made a video and uploaded it, on the mp3 you definitely cant tell when the bass enters at the start or the sudden rise in volume at the end of the track.

The OP wrote "It wouldnt have any kind of major melodies like current trance. In which the track is made to feel like a journey on its own, with build ups and break downs. but the blending of different tracks is what would make the and ups and downs? So basically it would be a trance track of today, but in a 60min form made out of a bunch of tracks that dont have their own peaks and breaks."
I listened to the mix last night and that is pretty much what it did. The majority or the tracks sounded like they were the track before, and built up very slowly and gave a burst of emotion from tracks 9-13.
I know it isn't trance, it's just a personal opinion mate.
