when did this happen?! fedor has only been beaten once (8 years ago) and it was a stoppage because he got cut or something (dont quote me on that, ive never seen the fight but from what I've heard). hes never been legitimately defeated since he's gone pro.
look above, I got nothing.
Id blame it on drinking.

This is his only blemish.

yeah... not much of a loss. but even with that blemish, to go so long without conceding a fight against top contenders (most of which do lie outside of the ufc as far as heavyweights are concerned) is the most impressive feat i've seen of any mma fighter. def deserves the credit he gets

I just like how calm he is, and humble in victory.

there an interesting quote I always liked by him from a couple of years back.
when asked what motivates him-
"Years ago we hardly had anything to eat. Now I earn more money and I see every oponent as a man that tries to put me back to that poorer period. That man has to be eliminated"

Oh man. In that type of thinking hes willing to kill. Thats a good place to get your head before a fight.

That's a great quote.

Last nights Affliction card was excellent. Glad to see Vitor get to KO.
Arlovski def. had a good game plan, and probably fought as well as anyone could the first three minutes against Fedor. Three minutes isn't long enough to say anything about the rest of the fight, had the KO not happened, but as usual, I think Fedor was taking the time to feel out Andrei, and figured he couldn't quite match up to Arlovski's speed.
We'll never know, but I wouldn't doubt it if he faked being off-balance to bait Arlovski to closing the distance for the kill just before finding the opening and taking the shot. In the end, his fight-intelligence and on-the-fly strategy made the difference and the victory.
Barnett vs Fedor should be fun.
And I hope Fedor never goes to the UFC. I hope Affliction stays strong. The MMA world NEEDS competition, especially versus scumbags like Dana White.

Andre has always had a " glassjaw" cloud over him. 3min w/ fedor is a death sentence.
I really like Barnett, that fight will be something. I cant even pick a side on that. Just a good fight from both.
