Ha!!
that's my birthday. I most def won't be celebrating with Tiesto.
edit: a party with 15,000 people in new york does sound kind of appealing though. Maybe I'll consider...

I don't understand this.
Why would anyone post a "maybe possibly going to happen party" about tiesto in NYC 9 months from now... ?
If it's just to start a conversation and get ppl to post in the thread, then i worked.
If it's because you REALLY want to know who might possibly want to drive 8 hours to NYC in 9 months to see a DJ who was cool 6 years ago... post a new thread in 8 months to get feedback... not now. |
Ok, so let me set the record straight. If you read the very 1st message on this thread I stated that I do have confirmation for this event. This came from a friend of mind who knows the Main Promoter for Area Events in NY. They promote all of Tiesto's parties in the United States, I'm not sure about Canada but I don't think so. What he told my friend is that this event is definitely happening, booked for 9/26/09. He didn't reveal the venue to her, but he said it will be an outdoor venue and that he is expecting 15,000 people, though I don't know where that many people are going to come from, because we've never held an event that big here in New York City for electronic music. That's why I came to the Canada forum to get an idea about that, because I know how u guys get down up there.
I'm really sorry that you misunderstood what I said, I should of been more clearer about that, but now u know. I would never have the nerve to come on this forum and create a thread to misinform and persuade people from other parts of the continent to make a pilgrimage to NYC for no reason. I have better things to do besides that, believe me.
So again, this gig isn't a rumour, a speculation, this event has been confirmed with me, my source is official she will be selling tickets for this event, whether u want to believe me it's up to you. But you'll see in a couple of months when they announce it officially.

And it will most likely be an all ages event so, PASS. |
The venue hasn't been confirmed, all I know that it's outdoors. But central park cannot hold a capacity of 15,000 people. PVD packed it out at about 5,000. Unless, they hold it in another part of the park. I heard that Bon Jovi had a concert with 60,000 in another part of the park, but, I don't think it'll be in central park. But, anyway who cares about central park? That venue sucks in my opinion I'm thinking maybe Randall's Island, which is a small island in the east river between Queens and the Bronx. I've been to raves there before. They also have a soccer stadium there. But, honestly I really have no clue where it's gonna be. As soon as I found out u guys will know right away. I'm just waiting on my homegirl to find out more information.
No, this definitely will not be an all ages event. Tiesto has never throw an all ages event in New York. Tiesto wouldn't jeopardize his own integrity for ticket sales. Only Pvd, not even Armin. Besides this is an Area Event, this is not Made Event. They're the ones that throw those PVD all age events. Area would never do such a thing. So if that's what you're worried about, then u have nothing to worry about. When they announce the gig, make plans to come.
