i mean i saw official screens in the berlin metro from the city of berlin congratulating tresor on its 15th birthday

Those venues look really awesome, Adam, but unfortunately seem way too sausage-y, even more so than a trance show at Pacha

i went nearly every week until they made it a monthly


as far as others, there aren't many but:

sunday best during the summer @the yard (sadly will be torn down for apartments)
water taxi beach during the summer
bunker
house n home
minimoo (not going anymore though, at least for a while)
less
deep space is just full of nuts of all sexes/genders
there are always a lot of girls at studio b
various parties thrown at APT
various undergrounds
and more

have plenty of attractive females and males alike


ps my recommendations for this weekend:
friday - bunker w/ jus ed, fred p, dj qu, john tejada, silent servant
saturday - omar s @ santos party house || matthew herbert @ studio b

thats a very hedonistic point of view i think..

seriously, here in germany techno developed after the fall of the berlin wall and the whole scene always had a political stance. and it still has, at least in the underground. thus, the music has a message (maybe indirectly, but it has) to be tolerant, thoughtful, anti-commercial, against stereotypes, to show self-restraint and respect what others do. thats also the main difference between german magazines as de-bug and groove in contrast to shit magazines as raveline (commercial) and also in contrast to foreign magazines or websites as ra, who dont seem to get the point of german music

I'll have to check Bunker out one of these days... it's a relief that it isn't a sausage fest. Was gonna go see Matthew Dear back last year but my friend couldn't make it... and all my dance-loving friends around here only seem to want to go to trance or the occasional prog shows.
