Exerpts from the "The Reliance of the Traveller" islamic lawbook. This is not some weird propaganda but official islamic law certified by the Al-Azhar university, chief centre of Arabic literature:

Jihad means to war against non-Muslims, and is derived from the word mujahada signifying warfare to establish the religion.

...

'Jihad' can translate to war, but it is a term that can mean struggle or challenge just as well. And doesn't that make sense? There exists textual edicts to rally people to defend their religion, to uphold its tenets against those who would defile or destroy it. Islam has been a successful social organism for thousands of years for a great deal of reasons. But Jihad is not merely a call to arms or war, as it would seem if you seek only to interpret it as such - which apparently applies to both yourself as well as some followers of the religion, itself.

To be perfectly honest, if the Crusades weren't a Christian Jihad I really don't know what is! And considering "God" told George Bush to invade Iraq, then the war that he dragged us all into should probably be considered a Christian Jihad as well.

I think I might make a film about it actually, I'll show a screen of quotes from the Bible where God tells Moses to kill every man and rape every woman in a city, then on the next screen I'll show bombed out Iraqi villages and reports of mass rape in African conflicts. Then I'll say that's proof that all Christians are bloodthirsty Jihadis who kill and rape because "God" tells them to...

(Oh and I love your selective revision of history to make the Christians sound oh so delightful, made your post even funnier than it already is! Btw, the Crusades weren't just against Muslims, were they...?)

Ah...

Now we're talking about Islamic extremism, not Islam in general (which is the topic of Fitna, and therefore the topic of this thread)

There is nothing wrong with opposing Islamic extremism (or any kind of extremism for that matter) and I would argue it should be opposed. However, Islamic extremism does not represent the entire Muslim population of Earth, just like Christian extremist terrorism does not represent the entire Christian population of Earth. So while it should be opposed, it can't be used to justify opposition to Islam as a whole (as you and others have objected to my use of the Crusades and violent passages in the Bible to "criticise" Christians as a whole)

It's also completely hypocritical for you to object to Islamic extremism while at the same time arguing that another extremist (whose sole intention is to stir up hatred against sections of society) should be allowed to come into my country to preach hate...

Exactly. Moses is one of islams most regarded profets. While christianity belive GOD sent his son to preach about piece, love and understanding and thuss obandon old wicked ways, islam is all about uphoalding the past.

What GOD told moses about the idolworshipers(of the golden calf):
Exodus 32:27
And he said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour.

This reflects what the koran says about idolworshipers and unbelievers and streangthens muslims view that their obligation is to convert or kill all mankind.

I recommend you to go to a christian church. You will see something behind the alter. Compare this to what happened when someone drew a picture of mohammed.
Soo...based on that...what religion in current times do you think fits the story of moses and the idolworshipers (of the golden calf) ?
