Whew... all I have to say is Jaytech needs to play here more often. When Wai told me he was an awesome opener, i had no idea how good his skills were. I wouldn't compare it to the usual proggy opener. Jaytech banged it out pretty hard. The majority of his set is a mystery to me. All I remember hearing are his original productions/remixes: Metro and Groove Nova and maybe Sunrise. Also a lot of Mashtronic-sounding tracks which need to be dropped in NYC more often!
As for A&B... I was glad I heard most of the songs that I haven't heard live in a long time or ever (Alone Tonight, Good For Me, Can't Sleep), but the structure of the set was just OFF. As expected and feared, they played a lot of the Anjunadeep sound, which personally, i thought had little room after Jaytech's mind blowing opening set. I felt like they threw in 3 original productions/remixes, then one new track and kept applying the same formula to their set. Compared to their last NYC apperance, which I missed out on, I'm kicking myself that I didn't see A&B in reverse order. I still have high hopes for BeB15 though.
I'll post my TL in a bit. Still trying to eat some breakfast/O.D on some starbucks iced chai! Wai, where you at? :P |
yep i told you jimbo aka jaytech would be ridiculous . also starbucks later this week, perhaps tomorrow? either way above & beyond were better last time but this time around there were many other things to make this night so fun. namely jaytech and my peeps!

Then Swamper and his entourage of 30, who were all wearing TA monogramed Rolexes, left the room and flew to Hawaii for a few hours because Del wanted fresh coconut.
To his defense, Trump didn't even really look like a bum. |
