Ok, so just finished the set. To comment on the track list and flow. Much of the set had a heart of earth feel, much of it indigenous and tribal feeling. The first 20 minutes make me wanna grab some alcohol or a good mellow-ing tea and chill in a dark lit room. I thought the set list was well put together and, well, I'm not adequately qualified to comment on flow talent, though I didn't noticed any issues with bad flowing. I did feel like the height of the set was around 25 minutes or so, but then again that could just be track preference. All in all I liked it a lot.
Aaron Sensei!!
On a side note, wouldn't it be cool to bring some tribal electronica to some uncivilized tribes and introduce it to them? Think they would like it? |
Yay!!!!! Thanks for the review Josh . Yeah it peaks somewhere in the middle. The last two tracks i intended as wind down tracks, kinda meant the set to meander off towards the later half.. Really happy you like it .
That's a funny idea . Taking some tribal to the tribes folk. Speaking of tribal drums, went to the international fest last year, the Africa section had this mad awesome drum show, felt and sounded very housey.Awesome stuff .
Thanks again for the descriptive review.
