By the way, anyone doing the same thing should pick their DVD's carefully; Fight Club- WORST DVD TO FALL ASLEEP TO, as anyone who knows what that jarring menu screen sounds like can attest to.
the "old school" dvd is fifty times worse with that fucking mitchapalooza song on repeat every ten seconds.

Check out this awesome melodic uplifting drum & bass mix. You'll probably like it even if you don't normally like drum & bass. It's good.....no it's not by me but it's by an awesome friend whos mixes i like. Click the link!
I have a lot of trouble sleeping when I really need to sleep. In general if I lay down no matter how exhausted I am it will usually take me about an hour to fall asleep.

Broken my nose about 4-5 times so have issues, have to lie on my back. And worse semi stop breathing through the night and wake up in a serious situation.
Check that out, might have a semi deflected septum which means you can't breathe as well through your nose, and not sleep so easily.

i have the opposite problem - i'm too good at sleeping. i can usually be passed out within 20-30 minutes of lying down (if i'm not tired, reading a book usually makes me sleepy), and whether i go to bed at 10pm or 1am, i have no problem hitting snooze for 2 hours the next morning and rolling into work 30 minutes late.
on the weekends when i have nothing to do, sometimes i'll go to bed at 1am and sleep until noon the next day.
maybe you should try working! I on the other hand, sleep to much. it's hard for me to get out of bed each morning and every evening i'm so sleepy.
or you could try this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MitXqAsrIBw

Same here
Although I am not insomniac or something, i do feel sleeping is a thorough waste of time...It's 1:00 AM here and I'm as awake as an owl. Gotta go to work tomorrow morning...*sigh*
