Batting pucks out of the air... thats like 2nd time these playoffs for Sidney. |
Perhaps that's true.. However this rinky-dink, spin-o-rama, fancy-dancy shit doesn't fly as well in the playoffs, I lost count of how many times Ovechkin fucked up last night and nearly caused turnovers. Playoff success requires veteran grit, proper teamwork and more than a one-man effort. If the pens have ANY chance of making it through this series..
- Guerin has to prove his worth and make that deadline trade look like a good move,
- Bylsma needs to get his head out of his ass and play Malkin more (as far as I know he's actually playing LESS now).
I still think they've got a shot so long as they keep that snivelling bitch Crosby from taking stupid penalties and they start to show some grit in their own end. Washington really isn't a big team, and Fleury's cracks are starting to show. Plus, I've seen some of these guys being completely clueless outside their own blue lines; I'll bet cash money there's gonna be some serious injuries unless these kids learn to keep their fuckin' head up.. Malkin almost got caught in the trolley tracks last night if memory serves.
