Sometimes there's confusion about the first episode and the pilot. Be sure that you start out with the later and not accidentally skip it.

twin peaks is my all time favourite TV series, just loved it. wasn't old enough to catch it first time round but when i started watching the DVD boxset i couldn't stop.
