Taking the piss out of something for fun is one thing, but Isn't it pretentious to look down on other people and call THEM pretentious..? For whatever reason.. I mean, I don't think they try to be 'douchebags' or whatever, maybe they just like bright colours and wear whatever they want.. first everyone was wearing black and people razzed on emo kids for that, now it's gone the other way and people are STILL up in their shit about it. Can you actually tell if someone really IS 'trying too hard', or if that's just what they like and how they wanna dress? I know some may induce a raised eyebrow or two from me once in a while, but at the end of the day that's all it really does - it doesn't bother me much I guess.. and if it did it wouldn't be because I'm saying to myself "look at that hipster".

They could say the same thing about other people too, right?? (Like.. maybe any of us) ANYone could... So it's a bit roundabout in that way..


But all in good humour, that site you posted is pretty funny AJ, and the cartoon posted is hilarious - I realize it's all in good fun, I just saw a few comments that got me thinking about that other thing, so that's why I said it. Yeah, you can pretty much tell just by looking at someone whether or not their presentation is overly contrived or not.
