My main reason is for illicit purposes. It's so hard to find good, cracked versions of software for a mac. All Ableton hacks for the mac don't work or only work for a short amount of time.

Other than that, I just don't find the operating system to be all that much more amazing. There's some cool features, and I'll miss the trackpad functionality (like two-finger scrolling), but I actually like vista and want to hack ableton

u'll get frustrated with PC trust me whenever i use them now i feel weird, what i love abt the mac is the quick startups, no hanging too much, no bsod, quick switching between windows with the F3 button, 2finger scrowwing, multi touch trackpad, keyboard illumination. plus iPhoto and iWeb are such cool and easy apps. so i hardly doubt i'd ever go back to windows.

are u just loooking for a cracked abelton live 7 ? im runnin that on my mac, with reason 4 and logic studio too. well i should not be talking abt cracked apps here :P

lol, all the hacks for ableton that I find for mac don't work. especially ones for 7.

Either way, my desktop is a pc and I prefer it over my macbook. You'll get frustrated by any computer, I'm just less so with vista.

Personal preference, but I've given osx a year. I've also used linux.

Here is something I hate about the current Sony's. That damn keyboard! It is horrible.

Here is something I really recommend. Stick with 64bit if you can. Everything is transitioning to it, and, since you do use Ableton, lots of ram is always good. Also, if you can hold off (I dunno what your window of opportunity is) I would try to get one when they are offering free Win7 upgrades. It is MUCH better than Vista in so many ways.

Lebez: Did you actually try to run the app on 64bit? I run 32bit apps all day at work, and I run Win7 64bit.

Undies with a dickhole aren't good for guys. Your balls can get caught in them. That's why I prefer to go over the gate instead of through the fence.

I really don't like Windows 7 from the little bit I've worked with it. I hate the way it just automatically moves things for you :/
