This is interesting, coming from the guy that was like "I export at -6db because Robert Babicz says so". Also, "everyone has to have a distressor, because this is what Deadmau5 uses".

As opposed to reading what a book says and what the technical wizards were saying. And -3dbfs to -6dbfs is something I would employ regardless, Robert Babicz was used to help make my argument.
So case in point...thank you.

I never said everyone has to have a distressor because Deadmau5 uses one (I know your reading comprehension is not the best.) I said all the noobs who make threads wanting to create a sound ilke his should get one. Personally I dislike the way Distressor colors sounds, but its great for sharp transient control, good for drums.

Yay, another hivemind zombie.
Where was the flamewar? We had a debate about an observation. And now that is over, cue in the echosytems and omega_blue's of the world, we already had DJ Bobby Rox throw up flames in here, which I ignored.

So in reality what happens is, someone bored comes into a thread I am contributing in, you being the example here, make a stupid comment out of left field, add nothing. The flamewars start from people like you. ;p

Well, I'd like to give a more in-depth answer, but I am not going to be reading what you say back so I really don't care. But you're an idiot if you think that was a troll post. go to www.digitalgangster.com and take a lesson on trolling 101. i wouldn't advise making an account and getting into conversations with them since you would argue with a brick wall. you'd die of sleep deprivation on that forum. cya

People don't come to this forum to hear someone bash Trance either, cloaked under "im nostalgics."

I already replied to the topic at hand, you ignored it, so i'll say it again, why do you hate Ghost Producers? And why not pay remixers properly if you want quality work done. You get what you pay for.

Human beings by nature aren't bad/evil. Many turn out like that after observing how society teaches 'survival of the fittest' rather than 'being there for one another'.
So the whole competitive behavior kicks in and it grows with them by age. This is a dangerous path to go down, for the soul. You will start to feed your ego, feel superior to those who may not be as good as you, feel threatened by those who are better, will do anything to make yourself look better than others. Some succeed in this and become the elites and like to control the masses. Others fail and develop insecurity and become vulnerable.

You don't really need examples for me to prove this point. Just go outside in downtown or somewhre crowded and with the intention of observing their behavior and actions and the way people talk/carry themselves. You will find out exactly what I'm talking about.

You will see guys who act like females, some who like to show how macho they are, and many other categories, but hardly anything positive. Alot of them dwell on drugs or copy hiphop stars and the way they dress, thinking in their head they are so cool. When they get a chance to put others down, they jump to the opportunity.

As for the females, you will see some that like walking around dressed like whores, others who cover themselves to hide insecurities. Infact, they are both insecure. The 'dressed like whore' likes the attention which gives her assurance she's the hottest thing on this planet. The other one hates the attention, because she thinks everyone is watching her.

The difference you can make is not by changing others, but by changing yourself by becoming a more pure soul. Others will naturally see your actions/behavior and say 'wow, i want to be like him/her'. And you will feel honored, without anything to prove.

strayed a little of topic we have hahaha

well im new on here but still

it makes me angry when :

you see people who just got there parents to buy some cdj1000's and a djm 800 mixer..
they barely learn how to cue a track up and because they can bring 20 people to a club they get a gig...
you listen to these people play and ...
there TERRIBLE.. they cant even beatmatch or anything...

on the producing side.. i guess it would be people thinking there top shit because they produce music that alot of people listen too. . .

----

on a happy note..

i agree with someone earlier in the post... i love the feeling when you have been hammering away for ages and then BANG it all clicks and you make *that* instrument or *that* riff or something along those lines..

and also i love those days where your creativity flows . . .
in otherwrds your making a song and you come up with these AMAZING ideas... (for some reason its usually a sunday for me lol - love these days)

and to add..
when u play a song out that you have made..
great feeling...
i cant even imagine how some of the big djs feel when they smash there tracks at sensation or any big nights...

I don't really get mad, I just sorta..flinch, when Subtle, DJ RANN, Diginut, SGL, coroknight and a few others post...because.....because I know

by the end of me reading their post, I will be fucking stupider.

They have this weird rhythm to their words that just fucking sucks the intellect right out of you. And I also think that their words are the leading cause of Misandry, Secular Dogma, Propaganda and Death.

Thats not how i feel when I read your posts.

For example, using 2048 samples latency really came in handy.

I like honest feedback as it helps me improve, and it's ok if it's rude, I can take it, but like the OP I've not yet been happy with a track I've made despite working 10 years.

I love it when you stumble accross your own 'killer chords'. I hate it when you get bored of them and cant imagine why you thought they were killer!
