Haha, that is word for word exactly what I was going to post when I saw him post that remix!

However, the odd thing is, is that although it's the same tracklisting, the sound of the tracks side by side are for the most part, different. The last track 'Time Of Your Life' was completely different on the two versions I have. Can anyone shed some light as to why this is? For the record (no pun intended) I prefer the pre-release copy I downloaded

actually, a couple songs were mixed differently in the pre-release: nothing, spirit, turning corners, way i'm feelin', and as you mentioned time of your life. the final release had much more prominent beats, and was a better mix in almost every regard imho.

James Warren at Hybridized has done 3 nice tributes in case you hadn't heard. Here's the latest: http://www.hybridized.org/sets/549 (the first installments will be added shortly, and he has the intention to do a fourth soon).

Newest Mix - "Discosmirk" Check out a nice selection of electro house.

Previous Mix. "That Feeling" It's Deep, hard and smooth. Prog house/trance with a couple surprises. Diverse. Incredible transitions. Check it out!

When I put together a mix, it's all about mood. Not just 2 tracks that can transition followed by another track but a full set of tracks that flow in and out of each other taking you on a journey. When it's about mood it works. It drives. It pulls.

I beg to differ! For the most part, I prefer the pre-release version!
