actually, a couple songs were mixed differently in the pre-release: nothing, spirit, turning corners, way i'm feelin', and as you mentioned time of your life. the final release had much more prominent beats, and was a better mix in almost every regard imho.

When I put together a mix, it's all about mood. Not just 2 tracks that can transition followed by another track but a full set of tracks that flow in and out of each other taking you on a journey. When it's about mood it works. It drives. It pulls.
