Yea, I would be just as upset if any other "important" person died and their death would get a shitload of media coverage. Why? Because it doesn't do the person any good, the media just abuses it to have SOMETHING to fill their programs with. Individuals actually use the "very important person's" death for their own amusement as well. As much as people say they're sad he died and talk about how great he was, it seems to me they're just exploiting his death to have something to talk about. Let him rest in peace. There's very little media and individual attention to the deaths of innocent people such as victims of starvation or genocide that go on every day in many parts of the world, why? Because that shit actually makes us fucking sad, we don't wanna talk about that. Instead, we choose to talk about the death of MJ, not because we mourn, but because it's fun.
There might be exceptions to this, people who have been touched by Michael in some special way (no pun intended, ROFL) might actually be mourning his death, but 99% of the people who talk about it are just full of shit bastards exploiting a tragedy to those who were actually close to him.

you're all just jealous.
"just another man?" No, "just any man" can sell a million records. Me, you, Soulja boy, Jesus. yeah, we can all sell a million, and with 7 billion on this planet, it's not hard to find a market fitting of you jamming on a toysRus piano.
Can "any" man sell 40 million records? No.
Let Rolling Stone break it down for you:
| quote: | | Sales of Thriller in 1984 in the Kenya region (approx 24,000 in a 52 week period)trumped even the sale of clean bottled water. |
I mean, there are some thing to do for in life. Your country and your family. But you gotta ask yourself. You're a young starving sick boy waiting at the dinner table for Papa to come home. He comes home without a meal, without a bottle of water. But he goes straight to the cassette player, puts in Michael Jackson Thriller, and instead of glooming the doom of death by famine, you die happy. That's why everyone is all over The Michael's nuts. Something you and your turntables just don't understand.
If you think somehow a god like The Michael Jackson cannot succumb to the impurities of mortal life, then just look at Mark 11:15-18.

Even Jesus made mistakes. The Michael was not a man, he was a God. So fuck you.
