i'm perfect with the time era we're living in right now. if anything, it's the future i want to see, which doesn't scare me one bit as i have faith in humanity (lol).

1930s. Not for fashion or music, but to see the places of the world that have now been overdone, commercialised etc, eg the best beaches & of course, Art-Deco is cool. Also houses built in the 1930s take the best bit out of victorian era ones and make them better. Win.

i wonder if people's choices would differ if they didn't get to choose the social strata they'd be born into in ye olden days. does anyone really want to live like 2009 indian serfs in medieval europe during the black death? sure, it might be life on "hard mode" but i tend to subscribe to this theory: the generations that suffered before me did so in order for me to indulge myself and have fun.

I cba to find your first post, but I remember being aged 10 at school and my teacher for the year was mad at my fascination with computers and told me several times that they would never ever lead to anything good or productive. Maybe I should give him a call & ask what he thinks now

The 90s were awesome but then again I already lived in that period. I agree that we're in the golden age now. Anything before doesn't compare when you look at the big picture (except maybe the late 90s...)

Nah, the 90s were way cooler than the 00s. Culturally, this decade has been a rather large fail.
