i've had tinnitus since i was a kid, had a bunch of ear infections that caused it. though oddly enough when i get my hearing tested for work, the tests show i have pretty good hearing still. pretty much, there's no cure for it (if it really is tinnitus and not just normal ear wear) and you pretty much just gotta tune it out. it only bugs me occasionally at night.

Yeah yeah, I know. The original buyer of the efx-unit backed out so now he's offering it to me.
ffffffffffuuuuuuu I want it so badly. |
if you're on a budget, don't get it. like jay said get decks and a mixer first- or if you're REALLY poor, get a mixer first and hook it up to your laptop for traktor with a soundcard that can handle 2x ins and outs, until you can afford decks. efx units are fun but totally unnecessary- and what if you hate djing? waste of $500.
jori you can get a whole dj setup, TT's, mixer, carts, headphones, for $500. i got my first setup for $400. i later got both of my cd decks for ~$500. just shop around ebay or craigslist.
