Humans can sustain upwards of 9 G's for brief periods of time. If you deployed a parachute, you wouldn't have as many G's as you initially did when jumping out.
With that being said, if you were to stay in the plane and go down with it, would you likely be passed out long before you even hit the ground?

Have you ever been on a roller coaster? Imagine how hard it would be to get up and walk around on a roller coaster. That's close to what a plane crash is like. Once the plane is falling you're fucked. You don't just get up with your parachute and hop on over to the exit. Combine that with 100+ other people who would be attempting this same feat and you have no survivors either way. But you blew a shitload of cash on parachutes, lol.
edit: you need to watch Discovery during the day. They have this one show that talks about plane crashes and what went wrong, bla bla bla. Not once did this idea cross my mind while watching. Too much chaos for something like this to even be suggested.
