They turned their backs on us and I can't believe you lot are all just going to take it. 240, canceled. the XGR, canceled. the Supra, canceled. The NSX, canceled. The S2000, canceled. The Miata, gone. All to work on station wagons with back seats and stickers.
The sports car is going away like the vinyl, that thing you see on the weekend by an enthusiast who doesn't have his head up his own self-righteous butt who needs to have everyone notice his freshly polished iEnvironmentalist. Pour some motor oil down the drain in respect for the death of autophelia.

Nah, I rode the Amtrak style trains. Not BART. In fact, most of the locomotives for the MetroLink service are VERY similar to the freight train locomotives that BNSF uses typically.

Nah I know a bunch of young guys that do too. Then again, they race them.

The NSX and S2000 were unfortunate losses, sure, but I doubt they were very high on the chopping block line when it came to phasing out less eco friendly vehicles in favor of hybrids, as the S2000 was in the lower-higher end of the 'good' emissions spectrum, and with the NSX hardly being something in sufficient circulation to warrant discontinuing in light of the aforementioned green spirit.

I'm not sure what you're getting at with the Miata, as we all know it simply phased into the far, far more respectable MX-5, which is still in production (not that a name like 'Miata' doesn't connote intense automotive enthusiasm, or anything).

Can't say I was terribly upset about the 240 being discontinued in the US, as if history is any guide, the US would have continued to get shafted with more lifeless KA24 relatives right up until 2002.

By the way, we all know you're a Honda whore.

No they wouldn't, you fucktard. If you got behind the wheel of a reasonable sized car you'd realise how much more enjoyable they are to drive.

Back on topic, I found out the other day that up until circa 1920, electric cars were the most dominant transport type in America. It was only the greater range of combustion engines that made them more popular.

The diesel engine is strictly for electricity generation.

Now, I don't know how efficient it actually would be on such a small scale. Anyone else see things that I may not be in my quickly thrown together thoughts?

I don't know in English but in French it's called "un royal", like the hamburgers in Mc Donalds (cf. Pulp Fiction).

Haha, awesome

I heard Amsterdam has forbidden tobacco in the shops, so if you buy hash, you'll have to 'settle' with bud as a mixer

edit: Sorry, wrong thread

There is a kind of horrible compost instead, but if you don't put your cigarette pack on the table you can roll with a cig. But, you can do everything with the electric grinders they sell.

Let's turn this thread in the pothead alliance (after all, "un pot" in French = a muffler).
