Dude seriously? You think I'm lying about those artist using only FLStudio and VSTi? Google them and look for interviews. I used to know most of them, or at least their music back when i was heavy into FL Studio when i first started producing 6 years ago. When I heard them starting to make quality shit like they do i had the exact opposite attitude you had because instead of blaming irrelevant things for my lack of audio and synthesis knowledge & quality, I strived to achieve sound & quality like that.
What you need to do is stop being so ignorant bro. Getting an FLP isnt going to all the sudden get you any further with YOUR OWN production skills. How good things sound is based upon how good YOU make them sound regardless of which DAW or which synth & takes tons of experimentaion, practice & ear training over years of production.
You seem to always be trying to find a shortcut or formula to making your music better. Let me inform you that THERE IS NO SUCH THING. Believe me as a fellow producer because when i started out I thought the same.
Once you learn this then you'll be able to learn how to do the things you want to do. The biggest difference between you and a "pro" is not the gear they have or the synths they use, but its that the "pro" was open-minded and was willing to take those steps (baby steps rather) to getting to where they are today. The main reason why you fail to make a "pro mid bass" is because you are limiting yourself by saying you can't do it because what you have isn't good enough which thus is limiting your equipment. Once you realize that YOU are limiting YOUR OWN equipment and productions with YOUR OWN THiNKING then start to CHANGE that thinking is when you'll start to see results.
Trust me. I've been there.
