You're all pieces of shit. Go and kill yourselves so that those of us who enjoy and value life can be left to improve it for ourselves.

Also, rebutting with 'I like life, I just don't like work' is completely invalid, because a huge part of life IS work. The human brain is wired to receive rewards and generate satisfaction after completing tasks that are not necessarily 'fun'; humans would not have gotten anywhere today were in not for those who made it their life work to invent electricity or cars or the theory of relativity or whatever. It sounds platitudinous, but nothing easy in life is worth having (except, of course, pkc's mother). Things can only be fully enjoyed when you have sacrificed for them.

You're all just evil spawn of the over-stimulated internet generation.

Also, did anyone else pick up on the fact that pkc doesn't want to work, when just two days ago he was calling all Americans laze-abouts and brats with no work ethic? Huh.

I love work that's actually rewarding, and I like overcoming challenges and figuring out how to get things done. I just think most "jobs" involve work that is boring, deadeningly routine, and not very rewarding at all.

a) That's bullshit.

b) Go and find the work that you think is actually rewarding. You seem to be very academically inclined and a bit of a book worm. Wouldn't something like a research position at a University suit your criteria?

Sure, but I graduated with a shit GPA and a degree in a rather useless field I don't think I want to pursue. Good luck getting a decent university job with that.

A 9-5 office job.

It's not my lifelong dream, but in the short-term, it's helped me achieve financial security for the next few years at least. My search for the dream job starts in 2011 when I get back from travelling.

There are ways around those obstacles: it's all a matter of will-power.

Work isn't great at all, but what the fuck am I gonna do all day without working? Besides after every two weeks when you see that nice paycheck auto-deposited into your bank account all negative feelings of work subside.

I think work was designed to distract humans from accomplishing great things.

hey, just because you've been brainwashed by "the man" into thinking work is a natural part of everything, don't try and sell that shit to us!

what bollocks. the human brain is wired to be self-interested. how that interest manifests itself is up to the individual. just because you wanna sit around all day and masturbate over your job doesn't mean you're the default model of human.

ive never see so much bullshit from you in a single post, especially the highlighted portion. i think you're confusing the dark ages with post modernity. the whole point of modernisation is having things that are worthwhile without having to work (relatively) for them.

jesus; way to go paraphrasing horribly. what i said was that third-world nation peasants have a greater understanding of the importance of work compared to their first-world cousins. don't be dishonest blog, it doesn't suit you.

...

way to go swallowing the ruling class ideology, hook, line, sinker, rod & copy of angling times.
