YES Illna that music is damned freaky! The worst is whenever they have those "Unexplained mysteries" segments...WOW, scared the shit out of me. Oh and Michael Myers in the Halloween movies. That damned white mask...*shudders* but also Stephen King's IT scared me shitless!

Horror movies generally don't scare me... it's more the shock effect.

But one movie that made me scared and paranoid was Final Destination. Shit it was about 6 month ago a saw it, and i was scared like a like boy...i could barely walk out to my car and drive home

Seeing people (in movies) getting shot and so on by some guy doesn't touch me, but in final destination where there's no bad guy hehe...

When I was like 7 years I stole Evil Dead 1 from my big brother and then me and my buddies watched it, we got so scared!!!
And Psycho 2 is also pretty scary! when Norman Bates is looking trough the hole in the wall and the suddenly some one is looking from the other side at him...That was so F***ing scary!!

Without a shadow of a doubt the best "horror" genre film is the 1970's German film

NOSFERATU

On a more popcorn level HELLRAISER 1 and HELLRAISER 2 are pretty good, then they just get stupid after the second.

The reason horror films now are lame is because they rely on cheap thrills, SFX to get a reaction The Sixth Sense and The Others being recent exceptions.

After Final Destination late one night (incidentally the night i was going to pick my folks up from the airport last november) It was raining heavy and i kept hearing things, I slept with the light on for about a week (So I'm a wimp.. Deal)

I also had nightmares after watching Scary Movie 2, I can't believe they let such a wank effort make it onto rental

Yeah come to think of it, that movie was kinda freaky. The awful sqealing of 'My hero' at the end is nasty! Not enough to give me nightmares though!
