What we need are more subways. Most people will never ride a bike in winter. Once we wrap our heads around that fact we will actually succeed in fixing this broken city.

Agreed
I'm surprised there are people other than those at city council that think further choking drivers is the solution to our transit problems.

at least montreal understands one way streets and how to use them. Toronto uses one way streets to impede traffic.
Most major downtown roads should be one way and then MAYBE a bike lane would fit in
