that would be ideal, but really, 8GB sticks are dirt cheap anyway and it's not like it's taking up massive amounts of pocket real estate (i already have 2 just hanging about and not doing much)

just plugging one into each of the players is fine by me

You know, that could be a good idea too...maybe having seperate sticks for Keys, or using multiple sticks for other organizational purposes.

i'd just have 2, the same stuff on each, i usually burn a couple mp3 discs for shows outside of my residency, tunes i'm playing at the moment and stuff, going usb would save me a lot of money while allowing me to play on the cdjs without having to lug around a laptop and having to plug a box in

Be nice to have the option though, because if you choose to use something like a terabyte hard disk, then you wouldn't really want to manage two of those.

i dont think i was clear.

what is the point of using two players? couldnt u just have some sort of Xone4d with a usb plug for disk and a little display? no need for two players and a separate mixer?

I was all of the above...! I hadn't slept and was in the middle of 5 gigs in 6 days and feeling really under the weather. I also hate being filmed for stuff like that, I get nervous.

I asked them to make it look gritty, so they filmed it with really bad lighting and turned up the noise. This is why I look like I'm a heroin addict :lol

ANYWAY, excited about these things. I think they'll release more information over the next few weeks as we actually filmed quite a bit (although I might ask them to use someone else's footage as I don't want people to think I'm turning into Kurt Cobain, as much as he's a hero of mine I'm not really that rock n roll)!

You looked fine on camera, just a little tired. Now that you're here maybe you can drop a few hints for us?

Do you know what price this is going to sell at?
Will it have a CD slot as well or is this simply an HD player?
When are you coming to play in Montreal again?

At least you didn't go all Deadmau5 on us... lol

the same reason i won't switch to abelton

i like the tactile feel of playing on a turntable or cdj, i'm not just a button pusher playing with a midi controller

they already make what you're talking about, it's called the numark idj2
