I've listened to all of it now, and this album isn't on beatport. FUCK. Anyone know where I can buy a digital copy? Even on torrents there's no seeders.

Beatport

Look at hipster-ish me making a thread about this album almost 2.5 years ago.

After hearing his other stuff, I think Earthshine is one of his weaker works.

I didn't think his album from last year was that spectacular, but I'm pretty sure EarthShine gets more attention on TA because it's a full blown trance album rather than one of many Ultimae ambient albums.

Thank you. I was also going to mention this.

I would also recommend checking out Cosma's albums Simplicity and Nonstop. Oh, and to get to the roots of this sound... Atmos - Headcleaner.

@basilisk, all these works are precedent to Earthshine. Where is the new stuff that sounds similar to Earthshine, that's the question/problem, no one has carried on this type of sound in the last 3 years.

Sorry if I'm prescient, this was really all just a doorway to get trance heads to listen to music that inspired higher states of consciousness like old school trance did for all of us and the real torch bearer of that vibe is all the psy fusion genres. Solar Fields was perfect bridge.

Yeah, welcome to 2010. Although I listened to Movements again recently, and it's quite a sappy album in my opinion. Of his ambient material, I prefer the older stuff, circa Leaving Home or Blue Moon Station.
