So from what people have been saying, purple room might be the only place that could have some form of EDM. Theme parties are over-rated and I bet most of the people there are kids so I'm not really interested in that. I would prefer a more mature crowd and good house music. Looks like KW isnt my town...what a shame...my girlfriend is stuck there for 3 years. |

even purple room is risky... i heard it's going to be re-branded as like a reggae/soca/dancehall room

Purple Room on Fridays used to be trance/house/prog but they changed it starting this September. It's now reggae shit on Fridays.
On Saturdays though, it's 21+ and it's house music, and there's usually a good amount of people that go, plus it's a more mature crowd. They usually have pretty decent DJs there on Saturdays, and it's your only place to hear house music in the tri-cities pretty much. Check it out a few different times though, just in case there's a bad DJ when you first go or something. I've heard a lot of awesome DJs there spinning dark and dirty stuff, so give it a chance. I've been there some nights when there wasn't many people and the DJ was meh, but I've also been other times when it's packed and the DJ is fackin awesome, so yea, just give it a chance lol. If I ever want to stay local and go out some where, that's usually the day I go with friends, and the place I go.
