Looking at the compilations which have been around for ages the number of tracks I liked haven't increased, but haven't decreased either.
I never was really interested in DJ sets, always prefered compilations.

So true, I 100% agree.
People always talk about DJ sets over here and never mention compilations. I wonder why?
