whaaaaaaaaaaa?? he was playing far from slow friend.
Maybe you should go to demf and check out his pure techno sound that he likes to play there. Oldschool banging tecnho.
I personally prefer his housier tech, which he still bangs out.
Guv 11 year still ranks as one of my top 5 parties. outstanding.

It was the Guvernment 11th Year Anniversary Party. I was in the room too...dirty dirty beats and the vibe was amazing!

Creativity and risk-taking really seems to have gone out the window with Toronto's superclubs.
Welcome to 2004

Is that really what you'd call his DEMF set?
Old-school techno to me is like Cave's Street Carnival, Ben Sims Manipulated or Chester Beatty's Jackstyle (I miss those days... *sniff*). What Cox plays (mostly) is maybe more like old-school tech-trance from 2003-4ish.

I missed him last time because of mid-terms, I'm hoping it won't be the same this year. November is going to be a killer month of events!

The last two times i've seen Carl (Circa and DEMF), I had a BLAST! Was tons of fun! Good party times!
Now was the music at the calibre of other sets or times i've heard/seen Carl? Not really... was it fun, loud and full of energy? Definently!
Not to mention (And this is crucial IMO for a good party), both times I was with great friends and shared an amazingly good time and great memories from both experiences.
