Nexus2 is still a rompler, but it has some pretty big improvements over the original version, including more flexibility with layering, better modulation routing, IIRC some new effects, etc. And, it does come with a new expansion pack. Also, all of the new expansion packs released since Nexus2 will only work with the new version (i.e., won't work with Nexus1).

Yes, I did. If a sampler loads samples, then logically it follows that a rompler loads romples, right? :-)

if i buy the original version of cubase, can i then use cracked vst instruments? or will it cause a similar problem?

Man...this thread is so against the forum rules...not being allowed to discuss cracked/pirated stuff...

You should be fine to use all your cracked VSTs as far as I'm aware. The only thing I could think of is a company which makes both a DAW and VSTs might write something into their DAW's code to check that their own VSTs are legit. But even then, that would be a stretch.

I don't think there are any risks, stability-wise, in going as legit as possible.
